On behalf of all our children, staff and governors, I am delighted to welcome you to the website of Ysgol Gymraeg Y Fenni, a thriving Welsh-medium primary school nestled at the foot of the Deri. Over the past 30 years, our school community has flourished and grown, leading to our move to our new home on Llwynu Lane. Our dedicated staff are committed to providing high-quality, enriching learning experiences that spark curiosity, inspire imagination and unlock every child’s potential. We aim to nurture confident, independent learners who develop a genuine love of learning that lasts a lifetime. Our curriculum celebrates our Welsh heritage, language, culture and local area. A strong sense of Welsh identity is at the heart of everything we do, helping our children develop a meaningful connection with their language, community and culture. We strive to provide a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum that enables every child to flourish. Through academic learning, creativity, music, sport and cultural experiences, we encourage all pupils to discover their strengths and achieve their very best. Our children are kind, caring and respectful, and we take great pride in their achievements, individuality and the contribution they make to our school community.
